What color mat and frame do you recommend and use?
I frame all of our photographs identically in an off-white (almost cream) white core Australian made mount with an Australian made black aluminum frame. I hinge mount the photographs (unless otherwise specifically requested), and frame under glass. Though some of the artists on this site prefer to dry mount their work for you.
My preference is for normal picture glass, as non-reflective glass tends to reduce the brilliance of the images (available only from the gallery). Framed artworks are shipped with Plexiglass to reduce handling breakages. I recommend you consider replacing the Perspex with picture glass. All materials used in the framing of our artworks are to the Australian Standard for archival permanence.
