I would like to learn more about becoming a better photographer, what are your suggestions?

It is well researched and documented that the best way to learn something is to find a mentor, and firstly copy the way that they work. Once you have mastered their techniques, methods, processes and thoughts, you can then start to develop your own approach. Find someone who’s work you admire and would like to be able to produce, and copy them. Then once you master their approach you can start to find your own.

Why not come to the Blue Mountains and spend some time with Leonard Metcalf, he can guide you to some of the most scenic yet un-spoilt wild places in the mountains, well away from the well-trodden tourist destinations.

Leonard is offering a number of workshops. They are described in detail at his personal website.

Leonard offers an individual tuition service where he will take you through the process of producing wonderfully creative images. Leonard is able to teach black and white traditional photography, colour photography and digital imaging.
